Following Rizhao Steel, China’s Laiwu Steel has reduced domestic prices again due to slow business rebound in the consuming industries. The mill’s H-beam has lost $19/t at the rate $1 = RMB 6.2094 (RMB 120/t) over the week, while I-beam and channel – $8/t (RMB 50/t). At the same time, prices have decreased by $25-30/t with slight currency fluctuations (RMB 170-200/t) month-on-month.
