摘要

Metacognition is often defined using descriptions such as "thinking about one's own thinking" (1), "knowledge and regulation of one's own cognitive system" (2), and the "capacity to reflect upon one's actions and thoughts" (3). In spite of these apparently simple definitions, metacognition is a complex construct whose field of study has evolved in a relatively short time from the theoretical search for its characterization, to the analysis of many diverse scientific questions regarding learning, memory, thinking, decision making, and problem solving (4).
