摘要

Searching ability of Trichogramma chilonis adults was studied at Ludhiana during July to October 2005. Maximum mean parasitization (25.93%) was observed in October which was significantly higher than in all other months. The minimum parasitization (8.49%) was noticed in July. The higher mean parasitization (52.07%) was recorded at one meter distance from the release point and it reduced significantly with every one meter increase in distance from the central release point. However,parasitization by T. chilonis adults up to 5 meters distance was considerable (17.69%).
