摘要

Two isolates of entomopathogenic fungi, Beauveria bassiana (Balsamo) Vuillemin were evaluated against Spilarctia obliqua (Walker) and Pieris brassicae Linnaeus by topical application using six conidial concentrations ranging from 10~3 to 10~8 conidia/mi. The LC_(50) of Delhi isolate ranged from 1.27x10~4 to 9.88x10~5 and 3.85x10~5, to 1.7x10~7 conidia/ml against different larval stages of S. obliqua and P. brassicae, respectively, while respective values for Lucknow isolate were 1.14x10~5 to 1.29x10~8 and 6.7x10~6 to 1.34x10~8 conidia/ml.The LTM values that were calculated at highest concentration of test fungi were 42.62,52.41 and 62.28 h and 53.62,62.98 and 118.22 h for 4 to 5,10 to 11 and 15 to 16-day-old larvae of S. obliqua and P. brassicae inDelhi isolate, respectively while 91.88,110.54 and 153.12 h and 110.96,125.89 and 147.76 h for Lucknow isolate, respectively.The results of bioassay indicated that susceptibility decreased with increase in age of larvae in terms of both LC_(50), and LT_(50).
