摘要

Life review is widely regarded as one of the most important aspects of the hospice journey. The end of one's life is a natural time for reflection and for each patient to decide how they want to be remembered by those they leave behind. Though many new and effective complementary therapies are present in hospice settings, this paper will specifically focus on the use of music and poetry as interventions for life review with the terminally ill. Existing research will be reviewed and commonly used interventions with music and poetry for the hospice setting will be explored.
