Tissue distributions of C-14-BaP and Sn-113-TBT, individually and together, were compared in mummichog by WBARG, after forced-feeding or intraperitoneal injection. Electron differential absorption (EDA) by metal foil was tested to visualize the distribution of C-14 and Sn-113 in tissue sections of animals exposed to both radiochemicals. Distribution of C-14 and Sn-113 in fish did not differ as a function of exposure route, but C-14 liver/blood and bile/blood concentration ratios were lower in fish dosed with BaP +/- TBT. EDA allowed a clear differentiation of C-14 and Sn-113 signals and could be used to image other radionuclides pairs.
