To the Editor: Medicine is changing in the United States, and the practice of dermatology is becoming a more complex enterprise. Medical information overload, regulatory requirements, a complex coding system, increased documentation requirements, and "call backs" related to patient instructions, formulary restrictions, and administrative issues strain every practice. Diminished efficiency results in fewer patients being seen each week, yet the average workweek remains steady.
