摘要

The polychelates of Mn~(II), Co~(II), Ni~(II), Cu~(II), Zn~(II) and Cd~(II)- bis(mercaptoacetamido)dimethoxybenzidene (BMADMB) have been prepared. In these chelates, the ligand BMADMB exhibits bis-bidentate character and coordinates symmetrically with the metal through nitrogen of amido and sulfur of mercapto groups. Thermogravimetric studies indicate a two-stage decomposition. The thermodynamic parameters and the order or reactions have been calculated from the TG data and comparable values are obtained. D.C. electrical conductivity of all the chelates have also been measured over 303-403 K range.
