摘要

The synthesis and characterization of several hexa-coordinated Ru~(II) complexes of the type [RuCI(CO)(EPh3)2(L)] (E = P or As; L = monobasic bidentate anion) are reported. IR, electronic, ~1H NMR, ~(31)P NMR and catalytic activity of the complexes are discussed. An octahedral geometry has been tentatively proposed for all these complexes. The new complexes exhibit catalytic activity for the addition of benzyl alcohol and cyclohexanol in the presence of N-methylmorpholine-N-oxide as co-oxidant. The new complexes were also exhibited antimicrobial investigations.
