摘要

This article is focused on research into the effect of the position of directional tubing with respect to a shaped heating surface during free convection. Local heat transfer coefficients along a vertically shaped heating surface are defined in the material with changes in the position of the directional tubing. The contactless holographic interferometry was used to visualize the temperature fields and define the local heat transfer coefficients in the area around the shaped surface. Experimental measurements were supplemented by 2D CFD simulations that generated the distribution of temperature fields along the entire length of the heated surface. The positioning of the directional tubing (Figure 1) in the x-direction (L_3 = 28mm) and in the y-direction (h_1 = 30 mm) achieved the highest mean heat transfer coefficients α_m = 4.92 W.m~(-2).K~(-1).
