On the 12th and 13th of November 2010, a course on ‘‘Biobanking for Cancer Research: Rules and Roles’’ took place in Bari, organized by Angelo Paradiso, scientific director of the National Cancer Institute of Bari, in collaboration with Peter Riegman [chairman of the Organization of European Cancer Institutes1 (OECI) Working Group on European Cancer Biobanks] and Maria Grazia Daidone (National Cancer Institute of Milan; chairperson of the EORTC2 Pathobiology Working Group).
