摘要

A new combined vaccine against mink enteritis virus and botulism was developed. The vaccine was prepared using Rodniki strain of mink enteritis virus with infective activity of 105 ID50/cm3 and Clostridium botulinum type C toxin at 10 LD100/cm3. Thevaccine efficacy was studied using 48 mink. The mink were immunized with combined vaccine and then groups of 6 mink were infected with mink enteritis virus and botulinum toxin 3, 6, 9, 12 or 18 months after immunization. The vaccine offered full protection for 12 months. After this experiment 10 million doses of vaccine were produced and used on furbearing farms in Russia. No adverse effects were observed and vaccine offered full protection. The combined vaccine is cheaper than monovalent vaccines against mink enteritis virus and botulism.
