This paper describes a 3D manual molding system using a volume rendering board to provide the effective processing environment for 3D medical image data. Currently, we have acquired 3D medical image data easily because of progress in the medical imaging system. But there are a lot of noises in medical images. Present system is difficult to completely extract internal organs from surrounding noises. Thus manual molding process with interactive inspection by some specialists is necessary. We propose a volume molding system to support such process.
