Development and characterization of new polymorphic microsatellite markers in loquat.

摘要

New microsatellite markers were developed in loquat (Eriobotrya japonica (Thunb.) Lindl.) by a modified FIASCO procedure. Fifty-two microsatellites were isolated and identified. Ten loci showed polymorphism with two to six alleles per locus. All of the 10 microsatellite markers yielded 40 alleles in a survey of a population of 32 individuals with an expected heterozygosity ranging from 0.062 to 0.700 and an observed heterozygosity from 0.000 to 0.656. The 10 effective primer pairs of microsatellite markers developed in this study are useful molecular tools for assessment of germplasm resources and molecular breeding of the genus Eriobotrya.
