The eu biocides industry appears to lack confidence in the european Commission's assurances that the EU biocidal products Directive (98/8)will offer adequate protection for their investment in registration data for active ingredients.delegates at an IIR concerns over the lack of control of "free-riders",which are companies that continue to sell an ai without contributing to the cost of supporting that ai through the review process.
