France's Technip has won and already started work on a $400 million engineering contract at oil installations in the offshore Neutral Zone, shared by Saudi Arabia and Kuwait, the company announced Thursday. Khafji Joint Operations (KJO) awarded Technip the lump-sum engineering, pro- curement, fabrication, installation, commis- sioning and start-up contract for the Khafji crude-related offshore projects, Technip said in a statement. KJO is a joint venture be- tween Aramco Gulf Operations and Kuwait Gulf Oil Co.
