Russia's Gazprom may acquire a 75% stake in the state- run gas-transport company Kyrgyzgas in August, Kyrgyzgas Deputy General Director Yevgeny Orlenko was quoted as saying by Russian media reports late last week. The transaction is scheduled for completion in September, once Kyrgyzgas' assets are evaluated and a corresponding government-to-government agreement is inked by Moscow and Bishkek, the official said, according to the Kommersant daily.
