Russia's state-controlled Rosneft is set to take a stake in a Russian-Italian helicopter manufacturing joint venture, of which it will be a key customer. Under the agreement signed by Rosneft, Italy's Finmeccanica group and Russian Rostec subsidiary Vertolyoti Rossii (Russian Helicopters), the Russian producer will get hold a 30% stake in the Helivert joint venture. To make way for Rosneft, the Italian firm will cut its stake to 40% while the Russian industrial group will cut its interest in the JV to 30%.
