India's state-run Oil and Natural Gas Corp (ONGC) will invest $6-$7 billion to develop its oil and gas discoveries in the Krisha Godavari Basin Block in the Bay of Bengal, with an eye on starting gas production in 2018 and oil output a year later, Chairman Dinesh Sarraf said late Thursday. This would be the company's largest-ever investment in bringing any exploration block into production.
