Canada’s Brownstone Energy has made an oil discovery with the Mani-1 exploration well in Block 27 in the Llanos Bain in Colombia. The operator and its partners found oil in the primary target of the Upper Mirador formation. Mani-1 was spudded in October and reached a total depth of 10,850ft (3,307m), said Brownstone.
