This year the UK's biggest dedicated anaerobic digestion (AD) and biogas event, UK AD & Biogas 2013 (3-4 July, NEC Birmingham), will highlight the significant contribution that anaerobic digestion can make to the bottom-line of food and drink businesses, potentially helping the industry to divert 5.76m tonnes of food waste from landfill each year, which would save ￡508m per year in landfill costs alone.
