With the Exxon Mobil-operated Banyu Urip field now producing at its full planned capacity, Indonesia is expected to achieve its crude oil and condensate production target this year, an official with upstream regulator SKK Migas says. The field, located in the Cepu Block in East Java Province, began producing 185,000 b/d in early May, up from its original 165,000 b/d target. This should help Indonesia meet its goal of producing 830,000 b/d of crude and condensate in 2016, the official said (OD Mar.10'16).
