摘要

Moscow—Stam-icarbon and Russian nitrogen fertilizer producer Uralchem have signed a joint technology development agreement for the synthesis of urea. The agreement is expected to result in a new technology that will be available for commercial use globally. It will be based on Stamicarbon's intellectual property and Ural-chem's research cooperation with the Moscow State University Dept. of Chemistry. Uralchem said the new process will allow for the production of higher quality urea with less capital expenditure.
