Geleen— Biorizon, a shared research center, has been launched to develop innovative technologies for the production of aromatics from agro-residuals. Initiated by the independent research organizations TNO and VITO, as well as the Green Chemistry Campus located on the Sabic Innovative Plastics site in Bergen op Zoom, the Netherlands, Biorizon plans to become "one of the world's top centers in this field within five years," Biorizon said.
