Kuwait- Equate Petrochemical Co. has successfully completed a turnaround of its petrochemical plants in Shuaiba, Kuwait, and at the same time executed the first phase of its polyethylene (PE) plant debottlenecking project. The debottlenecking, scheduled for completion in 2016, will increase PE capacity to nearly 1-million t/y from a current capacity of 825,000 t/y.
