Mumbai—Deepak Fertilisers and Petrochemicals, having already acquired more than a 25% interest in Mangalore Chemicals and Fertilizers (MCF), has notified the Bombay Stock Exchange that it is making an open offer for a further 26% interest, according to local industry reports. Under Indian law, if a company acquires 25% of the shares of a listed company, it is required to make an open offer for an additional 26% of the shares.
