Tokyo—Mitsui Engineering & Shipbuilding (MES) Co. has completed the purchase of 99.36% of the outstanding ordinary shares in TGE Marine AG, for a total consideration of about ?164-million, from a partnership that belonged to TGE's chief executive. TGE is an engineering, procurement and construction supervision provider to the cryogenic gas markets, specializing in cargo handling systems and tanks for liquefied petroleum gas (LPG), liquefied ethylene gas, ethane and liquefied natural gas carriers. It is headquartered in Bonn, Germany.
