Cansrejera— Celanese Corp., following a strategic business review, has decided to discontinue production, storage and distribution of monomethylamine (MMA) at its acetyl intermediates manufacturing facility in Cangrejera, Mexico. The company concluded that production and distribution of MMA are no longer a viable business option. The production cessation includes both anhydrous and 50% solution grades of MMA.
