摘要

The glass forming region in the quaternary system ZnOB_2O _3P_2O_5R_nO_m has been determined. Glass transition temperature (T_g), glass density (ρ), thermal expansion coefficient (α) and weight loss percentage (W _L) of these glasses were measured. The structure of (90-x-y)ZnOxB_2O_3yP_2O_510R _nO_m glass was characterized by infrared spectra (IR), Raman spectra and X-ray diffraction (XRD). Results of IR and Raman indicated that B_2O_3 participated in the glass network as a glass modifier and the IR band around 1440 cm~(-1) was ascribed to the v _(as)(BOB) vibrations. Glass intensity increased with increase in B _2O_3 content. The disappearance of v_s(POP) vibration around 760 cm~(-1) indicated that POB linkage was formed. XRD results revealed that the major crystalline phase changes with substitution of different amounts of B_2O_3: Zn_2P _2O_7 for 45ZnOxB_2O_335P _2O_510R_nO_m glass, where x=020, and BPO_4 for 45ZnOxB_2O_335P_2O _510R_nO_m glass, where x=3040.
