TWO workers are dead and one missing after a blaze broke out on a Gulf of Mexico oil rig operated by Black Elk Energy. One worker who suffered bums from the fire later died in hospital; the body of a missing second worker was recovered at sea while the search for a third missing man has been called off. A further eight men were hospitalised by the fire, which reportedly started when workers cut into a pipeline that contained oil.
