A field experiment was conducted for rabi season of 2009-10 at the cultivator field in order to find out the effect of zinc on wheat crop. A field experiment was undertaken to evaluate the effect of graded levels of zinc sulphate (0, 7.5, 15.0, 22.5 and 30.0 kg/ha) on the flag leaf, yield content and uptake of nutrient in wheat. The experimental soil was sandy loam in texture. Application of 22.5 kg Zn/ha gave significantly higher flag leaf, yield, Zn content and Zn uptake. The benefit/cost ratio was highest in T₄ (12.91) that in the 22.5 kg Zn application is the adequate dose for wheat cultivation.
