A field experiment was conducted during 2002-03 in Akola, Maharashtra, India, to study the performance of soyabean in a soyabean-sunflower sequence under integrated nutrient management. NPK fertilizers (100% of the recommended rates) + farmyard manure (5.0 t/ha), NPK (150% of the recommended rates), and NPK (100% of the recommended rates) + crop residue incorporation gave the highest seed, straw and biological yields.
