摘要

The objective of this study was to determine genotype x environment (GE Interaction and stability ofBG II cotton genotypes and effect of different environments on seed cotton yields to understand its adaptations to varying environments. The pooled Analysis of varience for stability parameters revealed that the mean difference between Genotypes and environments was significant indicating that genotype as well as Environment was differentfrom each other for most of the characters. Both linear and Non-linear components were important for majority of the traits. The linear component was predominant than non-linear componentfor all the characters. The GxE interaction of linear and non-linear components was found to be significant for most of the characters that indicate the existance of any relationship between GxE interaction and the environmental values estimation of stability parameters for seed cotton yield, the hybrid ABCH-1085 with highest mean value (X), b. value is greater than 1.0 and non-significant S2d. indicates its adaptability to better environment.
