Poly[4-(4-vinylbenzyloxy)-2-hydroxylben-zaldehyde] was evaluated for removing low concentra-tions of lead(II) in ppb levels from aqueous media. Theeffects of the pH condition and the initial lead concentra-tions on removal were examined. It was found that themetal absorption is best described with the Langmuirmodel. The R_Lvalues obtained between 0.01 and 0.23 indi-cate that favorable absorption occurs in the studied con-centration ranges. The kinetic study revealed that the
