摘要

Multilayers (ML) of [SnO_2/Mn]_n were deposited by RF-magnetron sputtering on quartz substrates at room temperature using metal targets. The XRD pattern and the XRR show amorphous and discontinuous nature of ML respectively. The transmittance (at 550 nm) as well as the estimated optical band gap (E_g) decreases with the increase in the number of bilayers. The present study shows that the optical properties of the present ML can be tuned by changing the n value.
