Ford Motor Co has entered into a memorandum of understanding witha Chinese electric-vehicle manufacturer to explore a joint venture toproduce and sell a new line of all-electric passenger vehicles.In a statement issued on August 22, USA-based Ford said it isconsidering teaming with China’s Anhui Zotye Automobile Co to buildthe new line of vehicles for the Chinese market – a move that wouldgrow Ford’s electrification initiatives and expand its footprint in China.
