Tehran-Lordegan Petrochemical Co., a subsidiary of Iranian Investment Petrochemical Group, has begun operation of a new ammonia plant in Lordegan City, Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari Province, Iran, reported Shana. The unit has the capacity to produce 677,000 t/y of ammonia, which will mainly be used for the production of about 1-million t/y of urea, beginning next month.
