Marl-Evonik announced it has started construction on a new polyamide 12(PA12)production complex at the Marl Chemical Park in Germany(PCN,11 Feb 2019,p 2).The project,estimated to cost over €400-million,will increase PA12 capacity at the site by 50%.It is the company's”biggest”single investment made in Germany,Evonik noted.Start-up is scheduled for 2021.
