Marl-Evonik has entered the project implementation phase for its new polyamide 12 (PA12) production complex being built at its Marl Chemical Park in North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany (PCN, 19 Mar 2018, p 2). The facility, expected to cost around €400-million, will increase the group's overall capacity for PA12 by more than 50%. Operations are scheduled to begin in the first half of 2021.
