Cologne- Lanxess has launched a new global online marketplace, CheMondis, which is set up as a cross-manufacturer and cross-dealer business-to-business platform on which chemical products can be bought and sold. CheMondis, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Lanxess, specifically targets the needs of the chemicals industry, noted Matthias Zachert, chairman of the board of management of Lanxess AG. It currently offers around 500 products from various suppliers.
