Zurich- Nestle and Danimer Scientific have announced a global partnership to develop biodegradable water bottles using Danimer's proprietary Nodax polyhydroxyalkanoate (PHA) material. "Researchers have shown that PHA biodegrades in a wide range of environments, including industrial and home compost, soil, fresh and sea water," noted Danimer Chief Executive Steve Croskrey.
