Vancouver— Methanex has entered into long-term agreements that are expected to supply natural gas to support over half of its 2.4-million t/y of capacity in New Zealand for a period of 11 years through 2029. The new agreements, for which a value was not disclosed, will combine with contracts from other natural gas producers to supply the local plants.
