Westlake Chemical Corp.-John Chao, chief operating officer of New York Public Radio, has been appointed to the company's board of directors. He was previously in the strategy and finance practice at McKinsey & Co., where he advised energy and commodity companies, and has also worked for Westlake from 2000 to 2002. Chao is son of Westlake President and Chief Executive Albert Chao.
