Irkutsk-Irkutsk Oil Co. (INK) and Toyo Engineering have agreed to cooperate in setting up a new large-scale ethylene facility in the Ust-Kutsky district of the Irkutsk region in Eastern Siberia. The plant, which will use ethane from INK's oil fields, will be designed for the production of at least 650,000 t/y of linear low- and high-density polyethylene. Completion is expected by 2023.
