Houston-Enterprise Products Partners has begun construction on its tenth natural gas liquids (NGL) fractionator at Mont Belvieu, Texas. The new unit, being built adjacent to its existing complex, will have a nameplate capacity of 150,000 b/d. When complete, Enterprise will have a total of 905,000 b/d of fractionation capability in the Mont Belvieu area, and about 1.4-million b/d companywide. Service is expected to begin in the first quarter of 2020.
