Lanxess—Dr. Jens-Christian Blad will become head of corporate development by 1 Sept. 2017. He has been a member of the chemicals practice at McKinsey & Co. Dr. Markus Eckert, current head of corporate development, has assumed responsibility for the new Urethanes System business unit. In addition to his new role, he will remain responsible for corporate development until Blad takes over. Stephen C. Forsyth, previously executive vice president and chief financial officer at Chemtura, has been appointed to the newly created position of chief integration officer for one year, effective 1 June 2017. He will be responsible for integrating the Chemtura businesses into Lanxess.
