Wilmington—The Chemours Co. has entered into an agreement to build a state-of-the-art research and innovation facility on the University of Delaware's Science, Technology and Advanced Research (STAR) campus. The new center, estimated to cost approximately $150-million, will keep 330 researchers and technicians jobs in the Wilmington metro area. Construction is scheduled to begin this year and completion is expected by early 2020.
