This paper presents the results of a study conduction in Bangalore, Karnataka, India, during June and July 2013, showing the variations in running speed of L. processionalis under different natural conditions. It is shown that the running speed in L. processionalis is affected not only by temperature but also by the terrain, slope of substrate and number of interactions.
