LONDON (ICIS)--SGL Group has acquired fellow German firm BMW Group’s 49% stake in the two companies’ joint venture SGL Automotive Carbon Fibers (SGL ACF), the Germany-based maker of carbon-based products said on Friday. The joint venture, formed in 2009, consists of two companies, the Germany-based SGL Automotive Carbon Fibers GmbH and the US-based SGL Automotive Carbon Fibers LLC, and will be sold in stages, the company said.
