Strawberry is known as "The Queen of Berries" for its delicious flavor and rich nutrient content, particularly vitamin C and ellagic acid. Both compounds have a significant role in promoting human health. China is one of the most important strawberryproducers in the world (Zhang et al., 2014). In China, strawberry villages, strawberry towns, strawberry counties, and strawberry cities have been developed in the last 30 years. Consumers can purchase and use strawberry fruit produced in China at any time of the year. China also produces various types of processed strawberries, such as dried, preserves, jam, canned, nectar, juice, and vinegar. Strawberries are also used in baked goods, ice cream, yogurt and chocolate (Figure 1).
